Plan Settings

Learn how to configure default plan behavior for your organization, including naming, media entries, tags, targets, and briefs.

Written by Micaela Rosling Caesar

Plan Settings let admins control the default behavior of plans across the whole organization. Any changes you make here will apply to all plans created under the account.

Admin access is required to change Plan Settings.

To access Plan Settings, go to Settings → Plan settings.

Conventional Naming

Use conventional name as plan name

When this is turned on, each plan's name is automatically generated based on your organization's naming conventions. This helps keep plan names consistent across the team without relying on users to name them manually.

Media Entries

Allow entries outside of plan date range

When this is turned on, users can add media entries with dates that fall outside the plan's start and end dates. Turn this off if you want to prevent entries from being added outside the defined plan period.

Tags

Select tags by categories

When this is turned on, tags are grouped by their categories in the dropdown, making it easier to find and select the right tag when planning.

Targets

Display target section

When this is turned on, the Targets section appears during plan setup, making it easy to choose a target hierarchy and set targets right from the start. Turn it off to hide it from plan setup entirely.

Require targets in plan

When this is turned on, users must set targets before they can complete plan setup. This ensures every plan has targets defined from the start.

Select required measures

Choose which measures (e.g. Planned Spend) must have a target value set. Only measures you add here will be required.

Brief

Require in all plans

When this is turned on, users must fill in the Brief section when creating a plan. This makes sure every plan includes the key background information before work begins.
