Create a Subsidiary

Subsidiaries sit below the global (parent) level in Camphouse and represent individual markets, regions, or business units. Each subsidiary has its own plans, settings, and users, while remaining visible in aggregate at the global level.

⚠️ Admin access at the global level is required to create a subsidiary.

Steps to create a subsidiary

  1. Go to your global account. Make sure you are at the global (parent) level, not inside an existing subsidiary.

  2. Navigate to Subsidiaries. Select Subsidiaries in the left-hand menu.

  3. Create a new subsidiary. Click Create subsidiary and enter a name and informations for the subsidiary.

  4. Confirm. Click Create to save. The new subsidiary will appear in your list and can be accessed from the global hub.

What to do next

Once your subsidiary is created, you can:

  • Add users and manage access from the global level via Settings > Users and Roles — this lets you grant access to multiple subsidiaries at once. You can also manage users at the subsidiary level if you only need to update access for a single subsidiary.

  • Configure subsidiary-level settings such as integrations.

  • Start creating plans within the subsidiary.

⚠️ Using Media Inventory? If your organisation uses Media Inventory, you need to enable it for each new subsidiary. Navigate to Settings > Plugins within the subsidiary and turn on Media Inventory. Until this is done, the subsidiary will not apply any inventory rules.
