Aydin shows how simple saved views and smart settings can speed up planning and strengthen everyday workflows.

For the December spotlight, we’re highlighting someone who isn’t part of the Customer Success team anymore but spent many years in it. Aydin has since moved into Solution Engineering, where he works closely with prospects to understand their processes, needs, and ways of working. Paired with his years in CS, it gives him a broad and practical perspective on how different teams approach planning and how Camphouse can support them in the best way.

What’s one feature in Camphouse you really love, but think too few users take advantage of?

Calendar View bookmarks. Although introduced many years ago, this functionality is easily forgotten. The benefit of having structured data in a tool like this is the accessibility of data at your fingertips. Bookmarks are great when you need to quickly answer questions, like how much you have planned to spend in a specific market, what’s running for a certain brand or product line, or pulling up a view for an upcoming campaign discussion. You can create filters and switch between them to get a quick glimpse of exactly what you’re looking for. Creating different views that are accessible either privately or publicly can save hours and make collaboration a ton easier.

What’s a common mistake you notice even experienced users make, and what’s your advice for avoiding it?

Not configuring their personal settings and preferences, especially number and decimal formats. We have a lot of users still navigating around Excel for some daily tasks, and they find it crucial to be able to copy/paste data from Excel to Camphouse. When doing so, make sure that the data format in Camphouse settings is aligned with the format in Excel to enable seamless copy/paste. This small adjustment makes the whole process much smoother.

What’s your top tip for helping teams drive adoption of Camphouse across their organization?

We offer a modular solution, so why not take a modular approach to rollout and onboarding as well? It makes it a lot easier for champions and local markets to adopt a tool when they’re being introduced to it step by step, which makes the experience clearer and easier to follow.
