Elizabeth’s Magic Tips for Working Smarter in Camphouse

Elizabeth’s clients often call her a “Camphouse wizard.” But the real magic is deep product knowledge and how the platform is actually connected. Here, she shares a few of the tips and tricks behind that magic.

Elizabeth Arkhanhelska – Customer Success Manager

What’s one feature in Camphouse you really love, but think too few users take advantage of?

What I want to highlight here isn’t a Camphouse feature, but something you can use to help yourself. If you’ve ever encountered an error in Camphouse, you might have seen a “data integrity check,” which you probably already know is related to your Media Inventory.

By using your browser’s developer tools and opening the “Network” tab, you can see which Media Inventory relationships are behind the error. It might seem complicated at first, but once you know what to look for, it’s actually very easy.

Repeating the action while watching the Network tab makes it easier to identify exactly which Media Inventory relationship is involved. When the message appears again, you’ll see a red line in the Network list. Expanding it shows which relationship triggered it, and if multiple rows are affected, you’ll also see how many lines are involved.

This helps you see what’s actually causing the error, so you can adjust the right Media Inventory relationship and move on without unnecessary trial and error.

💡To open the Network tab, follow these steps:

  1. Right-click anywhere on the web page and select “Inspect”.

  2. In the panel that opens, click the “Network” tab.

  3. If you don’t see it, click the “>>” menu to find “Network”.

What’s a common mistake you notice even experienced users make, and what’s your advice for avoiding it?

Google Sheets integrations are often used for offline media actuals or as a replacement for platforms that Camphouse doesn’t have native integrations with.

Sometimes the sheets don’t behave as they should, and in most cases this comes down to invalid formatting. To make sure the integration works properly, it’s worth double-checking a few things before connecting your sheet to Camphouse.

Make sure that:

  • The headers are formatted as text

  • All columns use the correct format (text for text fields, numbers for numeric fields)

  • For the dates, “YYYY-MM-DD” works best, so I’d advise using this structure

  • The first row isn’t blank or set to 0

  • The start date in the integration settings is the same as, or before, the first start date in your Google Sheet

Taking a moment to go through these checks helps keep the integration stable.

What’s your top tip for helping teams drive adoption of Camphouse across their organization?

Make it easier for users to find their way in the tool. Features like Camphouse AI prompts, bookmarked Sheet Views with a limited number of fields, and clear field descriptions help users get familiar with the platform faster and understand how it’s meant to be used.

When the setup feels clear, users are more likely to explore the tool, use it consistently, and feel confident in their daily work.

I hope the tips shared here help you work more efficiently and confidently in Camphouse. Sometimes, knowing where to look is all it takes to feel like a Camphouse wizard.
