Filter and Structure a Selected Target in the Targets Overview

When you open a target from the Targets overview, you can adjust how the target is displayed to focus on the information that matters most to you. Filters and view settings apply only to the selected target and do not change the target structure or values.

Filters

⚠️ Filters affect what is shown in the target view but do not change the target setup or values.

Filters only apply to fields that are part of the current target hierarchy. If you apply a filter using a field that isn’t included in the hierarchy, no targets will be shown.

When a filter is applied, Camphouse looks for target levels that match your criteria and displays the hierarchy path leading to those targets. If no levels in the current hierarchy match the filter, the view will appear empty.

To customize the view of a selected target, follow these steps:

  1. Open a target
Start by opening the target you want to work with.

    1. Click a target in the Targets overview.

    2. The target opens in a detailed hierarchy view.

  2. Apply filters within the target
You can filter the data shown inside the selected target.

    1. Click Filters at the top of the page.

    2. Adjust the date range to control which data is included.

    3. Apply one or multiple filters to narrow down the hierarchy.

Adjust view settings

Use view settings to control how a selected target is displayed.

  1. Open view settings
When a target is open, use the settings icon to adjust the view.

    1. Click the settings icon (cogwheel) at the top of the target view.

    2. If available, select an existing view to apply it.

Modify view settings

If you want to change how the target is displayed, you can adjust the view configuration.

  1. Click Modify view settings.

    1. Choose whether to show or hide empty target levels.

    2. Choose whether to display approval status or the last approved value (Approval-related options are only relevant if you use approvals for targets).

  2. Save a custom view
Once you’re happy with the setup, you can save the view for reuse.

    1. Click the star at the bottom of the settings panel.

    2. Give the view a clear and descriptive name.

    3. If you have admin access, choose whether to make the view available to the entire organization or only to yourself.

    4. If you don’t have admin access, the view is saved for your personal use only.

Saved views make it easy to return to the same configuration when working with targets.
