Learn what actions trigger notifications in Camphouse, how notifications are delivered, and where to manage your notification settings.

Notifications

Notifications keep you informed about changes in Camphouse, such as plan updates, entry status changes, and conversations.

All notifications are visible in the Notification Center in the app. You can choose which notifications should also be sent to you by email.


Where to configure notification settings

To manage your notification settings, follow these steps:

  1. Open User settings: Click your avatar in the top right corner and select “User settings”.

  2. Open Notifications: Select “Notifications”.

Here you can:

  • Choose which notification types should also be sent to you by email.

  • Enable or disable notification sounds.

  • Allow desktop notifications in your browser.

What you can be notified about

  • Someone assigns you to a media entry approval request

  • Someone approves or rejects entries you have requested

  • The status in one of your plans changed

  • Someone adds you to a plan

  • Someone removes you from a plan

  • Someone approves or rejects entries in a plan you are part of (New)

  • An entry status is reset in a plan you are part of (New)

  • Weekly summary of active and coming plans

  • Someone mentions you in a conversation

  • Someone replies to a conversation that you are following

  • Integration sync has failed

⚠️ Email notifications are sent individually for each entry update, so keep this in mind when turning on email notifications.


Get notified about plan changes

You receive notifications when changes are made to entries in plans you are part of.

If you create a plan, you are automatically added as a plan user and receive notifications about changes in that plan.

You can also follow a plan created by someone else. To add yourself or other team members as followers, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the plan: Navigate to the plan you want to follow.

  2. Access Plan setup: Click “Plan setup” in the plan.

  3. Select Users & Sharing: Choose “Users & Sharing”.

  4. Add users to the plan:
    a. Add yourself to start following changes in the plan.
    b. Add other team members if they should also receive notifications about changes.
