View Table Chart Data by Day

We’ve added support for day grain in table charts, giving you a more detailed, day-by-day view of your report data.

With daily granularity, you can more easily review short-term performance, identify irregularities, and validate data over time.

How it works

Day grain is available in table charts and requires at least one measure and one dimension in the chart setup.
To enable it, select Day as the grain option in your table chart settings.

Date range limitation

Day grain supports a maximum date range of three months.

If your selected date range exceeds three months, it will automatically be limited to a three-month period starting from your chosen start date.

What you’ll see in these cases:

  • When using the report date range, a warning icon appears with the message: “Limited date range. Day grain supports only a 3 month date range.”

  • When using a fixed date range longer than three months, “Limited range” appears next to the grain selector to indicate that the full range is not applied.
