About Target Versions
You can save versions of your targets at any time. A saved version captures a snapshot of your targets, so you can review and compare how they change throughout the period. Targets are often used for budgets, but can include other goals too.
Save a Target Version
To save a Target Version:
Open Target Overview: Go to Targets in the left-hand menu and open Target overview.
Select a Target: Click on the target you want to save a version of.
Save Version: Click on the Versions dropdown in the top-right corner and select Save version.
Name the Version: Enter a name and, optionally, a description.
π‘ A common use case is to save a version after sending your target for approval. This way, you can go back and see how it looked at the time of approval.
Compare Target Versions
To compare your current targets with saved versions:
Open Target Overview: Go to Targets and open Target overview.
Select a Target: Click on the target you want to compare.
Open Versions: Click the Versions dropdown in the top-right corner.
Compare Versions: Select Compare versions. You can choose one or multiple versions.
Review Changes:
Your current target appears in green and is editable.
Previous versions appear in white and are read only.
Exit Comparison: Click Exit comparison in the top-right corner to return to the standard view.
β οΈ The comparison view cannot be exported. It only exists inside this view.
Manage Target Versions
To edit, download or delete versions:
Open Versions: Click the Versions dropdown in the top-right corner.
Manage Versions: Select Manage versions.
Choose an Action: Update the name or description, download a version, or delete one.
Export Current Target
To export your current target:
Select Export: Click Export in the top-right corner.
Choose Format: Select Excel or CSV.
